I have been working in marketing since 1993 gaining extensive experience in all types of marketing, both traditional and digital.
After leaving school I worked for eight months in East Africa on regeneration and relief work projects before returning to the UK to do a Building Surveying degree. On graduating and due to the recession, I started work in a different direction in a direct marketing company and finding my niche I've continued with marketing roles ever since. I returned to university as a post graduate to get a marketing biased MBA, further developing my marketing and business skills.
I set up Copper Phoenix in 2009, as a marketing and business development consultancy aimed at businesses of all sizes, but with expertise in small to medium sized companies and the tourism and heritage market.
Copper Phoenix can be seen as a "bolt on" marketing department to help with those jobs your organisation may not have either the staff or time for, assisting you through ad hoc work, specific projects or on retainer. Having worked as a marketer and manager in several different work environments, I easily adapt to different organisations, am humorous and cheerful, with good analytical ability and customer care values.
My work history has provided an excellent range of experience in Marketing, PR, Branding, Event Management, Filming and Business Development through a mixture of roles, creating a track record of success throughout the UK.
In conjunction with providing marketing solutions, Copper Phoenix is able to draw upon a number of specialists in different fields, including accountants, health & safety experts, photographers, web designers, printers, graphic designers, environmental/nature projects, the built environment, interior historical design and estate management: a one stop shop for the majority of your requirements.
I’ll always give independent and honest advice and do my best to assist you with sustainable revenue earning projects which complement your core business.
Experienced in heritage marketing
My experience in tourism and heritage has included managing and developing heritage railways, historic houses/castles, museums and gardens. I have been involved with both fundraising and sponsorship projects too while creating markets through new events and development of existing customer bases.
Copper Phoenix continues to work closely with Gloucestershire tourism consortiums and attractions.
I am a keen amateur historian, interested in Industrial Archaeology, Naval and Military history, architecture and a very amateur photographer.
Hiring Tim has turned out to be one of the best pro-active business decisions that we have recently made. His in depth knowledge of marketing has proved highly invaluable to Lane Pearson Automotive Group
